Family Photography

I am so pleased you are interested in having a family shoot with me.

Family is so important and this has certainly been highlighted to us recently.

Having beautiful photographs of your family is so special.

I will let you into a secret, your friends and family don’t care if you are not your dream weight or have a few grey hairs or lines on your face – they love you as you are and want to see beautiful images of you – one day these will be the most precious things they can hold. So don’t hide from the camera or just insist on the children being photographed – Mum & Dad, you need to be photographed too! You are loved and should be seen with your family.

I love to photograph families outdoors, the kids can have a bit of freedom and be themselves without the needs of staying in one place. Nature provides us with beautiful backdrops so why not make the most of them.

Worried your kids wont behave on the day? Please don’t – I’m a Mum of three so I have been there myself! I’m ultra patient and if something doesn’t work we just move on to something else, you can’t force kids but I do have years of tricks up my sleeve that usually work!

Each family shoot starts with a chat so I can find out a bit more about you all and the location that would work for you. I have a range of options locally but happy to travel to your favourite place.

Every shoot is different but I can assure you it will be relaxed and fun, I find this is the best way to capture people and show your personalities in a photograph. As a guide each shoot lasts between 1-2 hours but this really will depend on how old your children are and what we are doing.

After the shoot, I will select the best images to edit and upload them to a passworded webpage where you can make your selections. The webpage will be live for 5 days to give you time to look at them at your own pace. I want you to enjoy selecting your photos without feeling pressured by me being present.
